Recycling and return
We take back our products once they have reached the end of their service life. 95% of your Volkswagen can be recycled and recovered.
Recycled materials at Volkswagen
Reducing the consumption of new raw materials is a key part of sustainability. That's why our vehicle manufacturing process also includes recycled materials, such as plastics made from post-consumer and production waste.
Consistent quality
Before being used, recycled materials undergo the same level of testing as new materials.

Making the service life of an electric car as sustainable as possible
Our endeavours to make electromobility as sustainable as possible extend beyond the use of recycled materials or the recycling of batteries. The initiatives and measures start with the raw materials and the use of green electricity for production.
