This is an offer by Volkswagen AG, Germany.

Breakdown Call6 in your ID.

In the event of a breakdown, you can activate breakdown assistance5 in your ID. at any time. In many countries across Europe, too. You’ll be connected automatically to a call centre at the touch of a button. They will help you with specific recommendations on what to do or send you a Volkswagen service vehicle. If you have concluded a We Connect contract, your vehicle data will be transferred automatically.

“Travel Assist” with mass location data in your ID.

The optional “Travel Assist” with mass location data7 can continually guide your ID. in the middle of the lane or along your preferred line while automatically keeping to the set speed and distance from vehicles in front8. “Travel Assist” also takes surrounding traffic into consideration in order to help you with lane changing on the motorway if you wish. In conjunction with We Connect and a corresponding additional agreement on mass location data, it can also be used on country roads with just one lane.9

To use the We Connect and We Connect Plus services for the ID. family, you need a Volkswagen ID user account and need to log into We Connect/We Connect Plus with your username and password. A separate We Connect/We Connect Plus contract must also be concluded online with Volkswagen AG. The contract for We Connect for the ID. family is not limited to a contract period of three years. We Connect Plus is initially limited to a contract period of three years and can be renewed for a fee once this has expired. Following vehicle handover, you have 90 days in which to register the vehicle on myvolkswagen.net or via the We Connect ID. app (available in the App Store and Google Play Store) and use the We Connect Plus services for the full duration of the agreed free period. If you register at a later date, the duration of the free period will be reduced accordingly. Some We Connect/We Connect Plus mobile online services can only be operated using the We Connect ID. app. A smartphone with a suitable iOS or Android operating system and SIM card with data option with an existing mobile data contract or one to be agreed separately between you and your mobile data provider is required to use the free app. Additional fees (for example, roaming charges) may arise when exchanging data on the Internet, depending on your particular mobile phone rate and especially when using the service abroad. The mobile online services are available for the agreed contract period and may be subject to substantive changes during the contract period. The services included in the We Connect and We Connect Plus packages may vary by country. Availability also depends on vehicle model, equipment and software version installed. This also applies to third-party services. You can find more details at www.connect.volkswagen-we.com and your Volkswagen dealership. The specified consumption and emissions values were obtained using the legally required measurement procedure. Since 1 September 2017, certain new vehicles have been type-approved according to the Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicle Test Procedure (WLTP), a new, more realistic testing process for measuring fuel consumption and CO₂ emissions. The WLTP will gradually replace the New European Driving Cycle (NEDC) from 1 September 2018. Due to the more realistic testing conditions, the fuel consumption and CO₂ emissions values measured according to the WLTP are often higher than those measured under the NEDC. This may result in corresponding changes in vehicle taxation from 1 September 2018. Further information about the differences between the WLTP and NEDC is available at https://www.volkswagen.com.mt/en/owners-and-users/useful-information/wltp.html. It is still mandatory to include NEDC values as part of communications. For new vehicles that have been type-approved according to the WLTP, NEDC values are derived based on WLTP values. The additional provision of WLTP values is voluntary until their application becomes mandatory. In cases where the NEDC figures are specified as value ranges, these do not refer to a particular individual vehicle and do not constitute part of the sales offering. They are provided purely for comparison purposes between the various types of vehicle. Additional equipment and accessories (attachments, tyre format, etc.) could change relevant vehicle parameters, such as weight, rolling resistance and aerodynamics. As well as weather and traffic conditions and personal driving style, these add-ons could also affect a vehicle’s fuel consumption, power consumption, CO₂ emissions and performance. Further information regarding official fuel consumption and the official, specific CO₂ emissions for new passenger vehicles can be found in the “Guidelines on fuel consumption, CO₂ emissions and electricity consumption of new cars” which is available free of charge from all points of sale and DAT Deutsche Automobil Treuhand GmbH, Hellmuth-Hirth-Str. 1, 73760 Ostfildern-Scharnhausen, Germany (www.dat.de/co2). Efficiency classes evaluate vehicles based on CO2 emissions, taking into account empty vehicle weight. Vehicles which are in line with the average are classed as D. Vehicles better than the current average are graded A+++, A++, A+, A, B or C. Vehicles below average are classed E, F or G. The details here are based on the EC type-approval for the selected model and its standard equipment in accordance with Directive 2007/46/EC. The optional equipment you selected during configuration may mean that your configured model corresponds to a different approved type on account of your selected equipment than it would otherwise without the selected optional equipment. This means the details for your configured model may vary. The CO2 values stated are the values determined in the context of the vehicle’s type approval.
