To reserve a vehicle, simply log in with your Volkswagen ID. You don’t have an ID yet? Click on “Reserve now” and follow the instructions. 

Select your preferred Volkswagen dealership where you can later order your ID.3 1^ST special edition by presenting your reservation code.

Now you create a Volkswagen Pay e-wallet in your name. This is your personal digital wallet where you place your reservation deposit. This ensures that you always retain ownership of your money.

Place a reservation deposit of €1,000 and reserve your exclusive ID.3 1^ST. You can cancel your reservation at any time using the pre-booking application. In this case, you are refunded your reservation deposit of €1,000.

Yes, of course. As long as you have not signed a binding contract with a Volkswagen dealer, you can cancel your reservation online at any time. To cancel your reservation, simply log in on the reservation application with your Volkswagen ID and cancel it. The reservation amount will be refunded in full. 

Of course not. But we will inform you by email when the ID.3 1^ST special edition is available. You will then be able to order it from the Volkswagen dealer of your choice upon presentation of your reservation code and can then sign a binding sales contract – if the quota has not been exhausted.

You can only reserve one ID.3 1^ST special edition vehicle. 

No, your reservation is tied to your name and cannot be transferred.

The Volkswagen ID is the key to all digital Volkswagen services. You need it to log on to your personal Volkswagen account and the reservation application.

Yes. After successful reservation, you will receive an email including your reservation number. You can check your reservation number on your personal dashboard in the reservation application at any time.

The reservation number ensures that you are really entitled to order one of the ID.3 1^ST special edition vehicles, if the quota is not exhausted.

Unfortunately this is not possible. No dealer is allowed to make a reservation on your behalf.

You can only make the reservation online by using the reservation application on the Volkswagen website.

If you have not signed a binding sales contract with a Volkswagen dealer, you can cancel your reservation at any time – simply and conveniently in the login area of the reservation application. And even if you forget to do it, nothing happens. After the end of the campaign period – or when the quota of available ID.3 1^ST special edition vehicles has been exhausted – the reservation will automatically be annulled and the reservation amount is refunded.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to test drive the vehicle beforehand.

No, the reservation amount does not bear interest.

Your Volkswagen dealer will inform you about this in a one-to-one appointment when you finalize your order. In this personal appointment, he will also inform you about all possible methods of payment and deadlines.

When you make your reservation, you have to select a dealer, but you can change your selection at any time until you place your final order – simply use the reservation application to change your selection.

If you subscribe to our newsletter, you will receive news, information and details about the ID.3 1^ST special edition after successfully completing your reservation.

When you are placing your order, you can choose from three pre-configured trims of the ID.3 1^ST special edition, as long as the respective trim is available. Currently, there are no plans for free configuration.

You can conveniently charge your Volkswagen Pay E-Wallet via direct debit, Visa or Mastercard.

The Volkswagen Pay E-Wallet – by Volkswagen Payments S.A. – is like a personal digital wallet in which you deposit the reservation amount. Hence, the money is still in your possession. The amount will remain in the wallet until you finalize your order or your reservation is cancelled. In both cases, the reservation amount will automatically be refunded. Once you have created your Volkswagen Pay E-Wallet, you can use it as a simple and convenient way to pay for services like parking or charging.

Even with the ID.3 1^ST special edition you can benefit from attractive leasing and financing offers. Please contact your local Volkswagen dealer.

Once you have ordered a vehicle, the reservation amount will be released in your Volkswagen Pay E-Wallet and transferred back to your bank account or credit card. It cannot be offset against the purchase price.

After you have ordered or even when you have cancelled your reservation, it will take a maximum of five working days for the reservation amount to be credited from your Volkswagen Pay E-Wallet to your bank account or your credit card. If the refund fails for whatever reason, Volkswagen Payments S.A. will immediately get in touch with you to find an alternative solution.

You can select another method or try again later.

For now, you cannot use the reservation amount for other products or services. If you want to use your reservation amount otherwise, you can always cancel your reservation for the ID.3 1^ST special edition. The reservation amount will then automatically be credited back to your bank account or credit card.

Once you make your online reservation, you open a digital wallet (Volkswagen Pay E-Wallet) at Volkswagen Payments S.A. – in your own name. The amount will be deposited in this wallet and remains in your possession throughout the whole pre-booking phase. When you order your vehicle or cancel your reservation, the reservation amount will automatically be refunded.

No additional fees will be charged.

Whatever may happen: Your reservation amount will be refunded in any case. No later than at the end of the reservation period.

The ID. pre-booking allows you to reserve a ID.3 1^ST special edition vehicle and by paying a reservation amount, you have the chance to be among the first to order the exclusive ID.3 1^ST special edition. The ID.3 1^ST special edition will be available in three pre-configured trims. If the quota of one trim is exhausted, it can no longer be ordered. In this case, you will only be able to order the other trims.

You have the unique opportunity to be among the first customers in Europe to purchase the trend-setting ID.3 1^ST special edition.

The special edition will feature exclusive exterior and interior design elements.

The first vehicles of the ID.3 1^ST special edition will be delivered starting from xxxx. Your local Volkswagen dealer will inform you about your personal delivery date.

You will be informed about the differences between the different trims by email. You can select your favourite trim and order it when the pre-booking phase for the ID.3 1^ST special edition starts and as long as the quota for the respective trim is not exhausted.

Yes, every customer with a valid reservation number can order one of the three special models. The ID.3 1^ST special edition will be available in three pre-configured versions. If the quota for one of the trims is exhausted, it can no longer be ordered. In this case, you can choose among the other available trims.

No. The vehicles of the ID.3 1^ST special edition are pre-configured, the equipment cannot be changed.

The personal data you provide in the context of the reservation will be stored at Volkswagen Payments S.A. and Volkswagen under the highest security standards. Your payment data will only be processed by Volkswagen Payments S.A.
